Elementary Flash Back

I have known Leon since I was --> <--- that little.  Way before crows feet and kids came along.  There is a common bond you share with friends that you have known before you even knew who you were.

And old school friends accept you for who you are.  I mean Leon has seen my big hair, long black trench leather jacket days and he still speaks to me!

When I first photographed Leon's family it was right when I first identified my style.  I was still ironing out the kinks but I managed to get photographs they loved.  When he contacted me to photograph his family again this year I was ecstatic.  I mean I am still growing as a photographer, but I don't feel as paralyzed as I first did when I photographed his family the first time.

Let me just talk to you a bit of Leon and Patty's boys.  They are all sorts of funny.  Here are three boys so very dynamically different but who mesh so well that they are almost like a comedy routine.

And? They totally have me convinced that they like me. LOL

Look at how handsome they are!

And here are Mom and Dad.. I so love this photograph of them..

Can you hear them laughing?  Makes me smile!!

This photo is one of my favorite from the day..

I want to thank Leon, Patty and their very cool little men.  I had a great time re-connecting with you again and I can't wait to see you guys soon!

I Heart Faces Photo Entry - Photojournalism

Have ya'll checked out I Heart Faces? It is a great site for photo loving people like myself.

This week I Heart Faces theme is Photojournalism.  I love Photojournalism.  It is seriously my love.  There were so many photos that I thought of entering for this weeks challenge but I narrowed it down to a favorite of mine.

This is little T.. I love how he is staring out thewindow of a very cold winter morning holding his little blankie buddy in his diaper.  I Heart Faces said we were allowed to share up to five photos to tell the story, but I think little T does a good job with just one.  :)

Little Man J Makes Turning One Look So FUN! Suffolk County Photographer

A couple of weeks ago I met little J.  He was shy at first, didn't want Mommy to be to far away.  That is when Mommy really turned on her Mommy powers and little J opened up with smiles!!  She even jumped on the bed with him to make him belly laugh!!  How awesome is she?

Little J was fast.  Like lightening fast!  He was all go go go.. But I managed to get some super cute photos of the little man.

Look at those eyes!!!!! All natural!!

There are so many other cute ones from this session with Little J.. Please head over to my Facebook fan page and check them out.

And lastly, thank you Christine!!! I had a great time photograhing your very handsome little man!!!

Sweet, Sweet 16 - Suffolk County Long Island Teen Photographer

I met Kim at Flexx Appeal Pilates.  She is the owner of the studio and she is one of those women whom you have an instant bond with because of how funny and straight forward she is with you.  Kim has an almost 16 year old named Jamie.

Kim talks about her daughter and she glows.  Jamie is a speed walk racing star.  When I met Jamie you can easily see why her Mom is so proud of her.  She is funny, sweet, engaging and so, so beautiful.

The session was at a local beach on Long Island, and the weather could not have been more perfect.  Below are my favorite from the session.

Thank you so much Kim for trusting me with your daughter's portraits.  Jamie, thank you for allowing me to photograph you!  I hope we can do it again soon!!

Porcelain Skin, Red Hair and Turning One!! - Suffolk County Long Island Child Photography

I photographed sweet little L during this past holiday season and she was still was just mastering sitting.  Little L's mom contacted me because she is turning ONE!!  What a HUGE milestone!

I cannot believe how big Little L got, and her personality was so awesome.  Seriously, she was the perfect model.  And take a look at how porcelain her skin is, and that hair color.. stunning!!!

At one point I asked mom if I could take Little L outside and it was hysterical.  She did not want to sit down for a second, she was all "I have freedom, I am outta here.."  It was so adorable.

Thank you so much Lisa for contacting me to take your beautiful daughters portraits.

Here are my favorite from the session.  Head over to Facebook to see lots more!!

This photo melts my heart.. I love it!

16 Never looked so beautiful. Suffolk County Long Island Photographer

A friend of mine has a daughter that just turned 16.  16!!  That is like eight lifetime's ago for me.  I was blown away from how mature Brandi was and how she is so focused on her future.

Brandi and I went to a Bayard Cutting Arboretum last Friday.  It was a glorious day.  The sun was out, it was warm, flowers are starting to bloom.  It truly was a beautiful day.

I literally shot the entire session in about a half an hour.  It was just that easy with her. She was so comfortable in front of the camera.  Here are some of my favorite from the day.  Make sure you head over to my Facebook Fan page to check out the rest!!  :)

Lots of laughs -Suffolk County Long Island Child Photographer

This past week I had the pleasure of photographing two adore children.

What was wonderful about this session was it was a friend from way, way, back in the day.  Kelly and I were in the fifth grade together.  We used to be cheerleaders together in Junior High.  We went to Great Adventure the day after prom.  She was a friend whom I had lost touch with over the many years.

It was crazy to find out she has a little girl who is five and a little boy who just turned three.  Exactly my kids age.

Her kids were so funny.  So full of laughs and giggles.  I truly had the best time meeting Kelly, her husband Manny and their adorable children.

Here are my favorites from the session:

Cuteness Overload - Nassau County Long Island Child Photographer

It was snowing, again, the morning I drove out to meet Kelley and her son.  I was late.  I hate being late to photography sessions.  When I pulled up to the home where I was going to photograph it was like a weight lifted off my shoulders.  Kelley was at the front door with Little T in her arms and one look at him I knew we were going to have fun.  And that is exactly what we did!

Sweet little T is turning Two next month.  His mom wanted to capture her little man and his curls before his big boy hair cut.  Here are my favorite photographs from the session:

Thank you so much Kelley for opening your home to me.  I felt so welcomed and your little man made my job easy.  I hope your husband liked the present! :)
