Full of energy, beautiful little girl.. Long Island Child Photographer

Before I left for vacation I had the pleasure of photographing a little girl who was so full of energy that it truly was a blast capturing her personality.  She would play shy, and then leap out in laughter.  It made my job super easy.

We had three outfit changes and a ton of smiles. I can't thank sweet little A's parents enough for opening their home to me to photograph their beautiful daughter.  I moved furniture, dragged lawn furniture around and oo'd and ahh'd over the closet of their daughter (what I have little boys..LOL).  It was a blast, and we had PERFECT weather.. :)

I am super excited to share a few favorite from the session.  To see more from this session, please visit my Facebook Fan Page.. :)

Precious Baby C - Suffolk County Long Island Newborn Photographer

Every time I get to photograph a newborn my heart skips a beat. I am not even kidding.  Photographing a baby when they are no more than a few days old is something so precious.  When I met Baby C he was nine days old.  He was so strong and alert.  He decided he didn't like any of my newborn sleepy tricks like keeping him warm with a heater, or the white noise machine.   But boy, he sure liked to model for me.  Baby C was such a good little man the entire time during the session!!

Here is my favorite from the session:

The photograph below is in my top ten photograph I have ever taken.  I love the negative space, I love how peaceful he looks.. I just love it!!

Look at that face!! Soo handsome..

Thank you so much to Lisa who contacted me, and to Liz and Charlie for allowing me into their home to photograph their extremely adorable son!

Winter Photo Session - Long Island Family Photographer

It is winter on Long Island right now.. brrrrrr.. the temps have been around 20 degrees for what feels like forever.

Have I mentioned I hate the cold?  I like it for all of a second when the first snow falls but then I am over and want summer.

In the winter it is hard to do outside portrait sessions because of how cold it is, but I begged my sister to come over today so I can practice on her family.  (practice..practice.. practice.. ) :)

Here are a few of my favorite from the day... the light was yummy... and I cannot thank my sister and her boys for coming over!!

Holiday Photo Share... because now I can.. :)

I have been busy over the past month with Holiday photo sessions.  It was GREAT.  I loved every second of it.  Now that I know some of my clients have sent out their cards I am going to start sharing some of my favorites from different sessions.  (This will be the first post of many.. )

I didn't want to share them sooner for fear someone in their family or friends read my blog and then it would ruin the surprise.

It seriously was so much fun photographing each and every one of my clients this holiday season.  Thank you all again!

Happy Shooting!!

Sneak Peak - Long Island Holiday Family Portraits

I hope you all had a GREAT Thanksgiving.  It was great to spend the day with my family and just kick back, relax and eat!! Crazy that I completely forgot to pick up my camera the entire day on Thanksgiving in my house.  :p

Over the past couple of weeks I had numerous holiday photo sessions, which I won't share until after the New Year because I want my clients family and friends to be surprised.  :)  But I what I can share are some of my favorite out-takes of each session.

Today I am sharing two of my favorite photographs from recent session.

Happy Shooting!!!
